Brussels (Belgium), 3 December 2025 – Confindustria Assoimmobiliare, the Italian National Association of the Real Estate Industry, has officially joined Build Europe, the leading European federation of homebuilders and residential developers. The decision was approved during the Build Europe Congress held in Malta from 29 to 31 October 2025, in the presence of the key figures of the European real estate sector.
Build Europe, which represents over 70% of Europe’s residential development capacity, is a strategic interlocutor for the European Commission, Parliament and Council on issues such as housing affordability, the green transition and regulatory simplification. Its initiatives aim to promote accessible housing and reaffirm the centrality of living in European policymaking, an objective reiterated in the organisation’s most recent strategic documents.
The entry of Confindustria Assoimmobiliare strengthens Italy’s role in the debate on housing and urban development policies at European level, bringing into Build Europe the experience, vision and innovative capacity of Italian professional and institutional operators.
