39.6 billion euros
This is the amount of housing aid (housing assistance benefits, operating and investment subsidies, tax benefits and tax benefits) distributed in 2018 according to the latest report of the Commission des comptes du logement (the FPI is now a member) published on 30 September 2019 by the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition. This is a sharp decline of 4.9% compared to the accounts of 2017. This aid, at 77.6% of State, benefits for 31.8% to the free market and 18.9% to the owners occupants. Moreover, housing levies would represent 77.5 billion euros, or + 3.8% compared to 2017. Although long-term trends are comparable, this increase is greater than that of compulsory deductions (+ 2,2%) in 2018.
