This is the increase in block sales in the third quarter of 2019 compared to the third quarter of 2018, according to the publication on Thursday 14 November of the figures of the Observatory of the FPI. The dynamics within these block sales are different in different markets.
- Off-plan sales to HLMs are down by almost 9% over three months.
- Sales to intermediary housing operators and especially to institutional investors are clearly recovering. This evolution contrasts with the weakness observed since the beginning of the year (-4.3%) but remains to be confirmed over time.
- In addition, the total new housing bookings for the third quarter of 2019 are stable compared with those of the third quarter of 2018 (+ 0.2%). However, they remain down over the first nine months of the year (-3%).
