Les Pyramides d’Or (FPI, France)
The competition of the Pyramides promotes the most beautiful development projects throughout France. Organised by the Federation of Real Estate Promoters (FPI), the Pyramides take place over two rounds – an initial regional round, followed by a national final. Under the leadership of Alexandra François-Cuxac, the Pyramides were completely renovated in 2016, focusing more to celebrate the core ideals of the FPI: innovation, quality, technical performance, aesthetics, responsible operations, excellence in customer relations and emergence of new talents.
Alexandra François-Cuxac, President of the FPI France, said:
“To be shortlisted for the industry’s most demanding competition, property developers within the FPI must demonstrate their unequivocal commitment to adapting their methods and strategies to match societal, digital and environmental transformation, as well as changes in uses and expectations of their clients.”

FIABCI Prix d’excellence (BFW, Germany)
The FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Germany, nicknamed the “Oscars of the property world” by the Wall Street Journal, has been one of the most prestigious awards for real estate projects for over 25 years. As a part of this worldwide competition, Germany is one of 18 countries that host the award nationally. Winners of national awards are submitted into an international competition. Managed jointly by the BFW (German Association of independent real estate companies) and FIABCI (the international real estate federation, the FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Germany is Germany’s first and only nationwide award for project development, and has been an annual fixture since 2014.
The award aims to create a nationwide competition that not only celebrates outstanding achievements in the real estate industry, but also supports the creation of quality development environments. It has been a success from its inception – each year, projects have been submitted from over 20 cities, and have distinguished themselves through demonstration of sustainability, innovation, market-focused concepts and high-level architecture.
Housebuilders Awards (HBF, UK)
The Housebuilder Awards, supported by HBF and NHBC, are now in their 16th year and are geared to rewarding innovation and excellence in the housebuilding industry. These are the industry’s own awards and recognise those in the industry who are improving quality, design, efficiency and customer care in housebuilding. Award entries are submitted in the spring, after which the panel of judges select the category winners. The awards presentation evening is then held in the autumn at a black tie dinner.
